Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet ferrying the US defense secretary was required to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was identified in the jet's front window, per an announcement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.

"The aircraft touched down in accordance with established safety measures and all passengers, such as Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer stated in a social media post.

Hegseth was returning from a short visit to Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence is not the first occasion that a US military aircraft transporting a top government figure has encountered technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane ferrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was required to turn back to the US capital after encountering a technical issue.
