Across the extremely contested realm of video games, it's typical for new contenders to disappear as quickly as they explode onto the landscape.
But this new installment is hoping to shift that dynamic.
Here comes the latest entry in a long-standing warfare game franchise frequently framed as a more realistic answer to the CoD series.
The franchise has not quite been able to match its most famous opponent in regards of sales or user base, but there are signs the latest version could narrow the difference.
An early access event giving gamers a shot to experience the title earlier this year achieved milestones, and the excitement leading up to its debut has been massive.
Yet the endeavor is still a major risk for developer the gaming giant, which has reportedly invested huge sums of funds producing it.
Reporters have talked to some of the creators to find out how they hope it will pay off.
Development Team and Developer Collaboration
Several development houses were creating the title under the unified development initiative.
This includes veteran developer the Swedish studio, based in Europe, Los Angeles-based Motive Studios and Ripple Effect in Canada.
The fourth, the UK studio, is situated in Guildford.
A key leader is the general manager of the two continental developers, and shares with reporters that, in regards of what it's providing gamers, "the latest installment is likely unmatched."
Building On Earlier Errors
This title follows the back of the futuristic the previous game, launched four years ago to a poor reception it struggled to recover from.

"This entire strategy has been something new but something really exciting because we are working with team members from all over the world."
As for the pressure on the developers, he says: "We feel pressure but at the same time it's motivating.
"It's a large project. It's arguably the most significant that many of us have before participated in."
Young Artist Adds Innovative Perspective
